Food and yoga are a major influence and passion in my life.  Before yoga, food was my journey and now yoga has surpassed all expectations and integrated into my life to the point of becoming a full time yoga teacher.  Here's a little background that brought me to where I am today:

Born in Africa, I've had a slightly nomadic life living and working abroad and a family home in the Suffolk.  From a young age, I was taught the value of self sufficiency as we grew and farmed pretty much everything which landed on our plates.  This upbringing is responsible for my healthy balanced attitude and connection with food, what I eat, seasonality and nutrition for the body.

With this knowledge and experience, I eventually set up and ran 2 small food companies selling my product at local farmers markets and farm shops.

Having lived in Japan, Australia, Italy and New York, these cultures also played an important role in influencing my passion and knowledge of food whilst gaining life skills.  My first food business Blini, a party food service, offered sumptuous, celebratory canapés & finger foods for private and business clients. Alongside I set up and ran The Flying Fish Company, producing handmade fishcakes for farmers markets, events and farm shops.

The way yoga came into my life was through winning a competition in 2002.  This gave me a free pass to trial something new and unexplored.

As soon as I got onto the mat I started to meet myself in a completely different way and quickly valued how it made me feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

The yoga journey

Over the years yoga became an integral part of my life, transforming the way I interacted with life.  Yoga inspired a desire to understand my journey at a much deeper level and be curious about my relationships in life and with life itself.  After 8 years of practice it felt natural to then train as a yoga teacher.

I have combined my passion for food and yoga which complement each other perfectly in creating a lifestyle of wellbeing.

I currently live by the sea in Hove, East Sussex.
