Nourish In Norfolk Weekend @ West Lexham 18 - 20th Sept 2026

In a world that rarely encourages us to slow down, taking time to care for your mind and body is not an indulgence—it's an investment in your wellbeing.

Come to a space enveloped in nature that creates an opportunity for you to rest, reflect and restore.

West Lexham offers a peaceful sanctuary designed for rest, renewal and connection. Surrounded by ancient woodland, wildflower meadows and a tranquil lake, the eco-conscious retreat venue features beautiful yoga spaces, comfortable accommodation, nourishing seasonal food from its kitchen garden, and opportunities for wild swimming, a natural swimming pool, woodland walks and quiet reflection. It's the perfect setting to step away from the pace of everyday life, reconnect with nature and enjoy a restorative weekend of wellbeing.

Inspired by the grounding qualities of Late Summer and the Earth element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this retreat invites you to cultivate balance, replenish your energy and return home feeling more centred, resilient and connected to yourself.

This weekend is an invitation to pause, receive and remember that caring for yourself is the foundation from which everything else can flourish.

What's included:

Yoga / Movement / Breathing

Inspired by the grounding energy of Late Summer and the Earth element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, our Katonah Yoga practice invites you to slow down, restore balance and reconnect with yourself. Breathwork (pranayama) and mindful movement help calm the nervous system, cultivate steady energy and leave you feeling grounded, refreshed and ready for the transition into autumn.

Nourishment

The kitchen at West Lexham will provide you with seasonal ingredients grown on site, providing the freshest most nutritional flavours available.

All meals are made with care, love and healing energy.

The Cart Shed Boutique style double rooms with private ensuite bathroom

Set within a restored Victorian building, they bring together a sense of history with the ease of modern living. Once home to working carts, the space has been thoughtfully transformed into a peaceful place to stay, where character and comfort sit naturally alongside one another.

Every element has been chosen to support rest.

Glamping in a Bell Tent nestled in nature, near the lake

Set by the water’s edge, the bell tents offer a gentle return to outdoor living. Raised on decking and open to views of the lake or river, they sit lightly within the landscape. Days move easily between inside and out, while evenings settle into soft light and quiet stillness. It is a way of staying that feels both simple and considered, close to nature without leaving comfort behind.

The bell tents are a short walk from the Wash House, just 50 to 75 metres away. Inside, there are five private shower rooms, each with its own toilet, with one also offering a bath and baby changing facilities. All are warmed by underfloor heating powered by sustainably sourced wood chip. Each space is thoughtfully finished with its own character, and stocked with organic, nature-friendly soap and shampoo.

Why Go on a Yoga Retreat ?

The Benefits

It takes your yoga to the next level. A real investment in your physical and mental health

It’s unlikely you do yoga everyday, so twice a day with a balance of 2 different styles is going to transform your understanding and level of experience in a far more advanced way. Plus you're not moving through your usual work / family and social schedules, so will be much more relaxed which is ideal for deepening your yoga.

A new perspective

Being away somewhere new and difference opens the senses and freshens our state of being this helps us learn and grow

You get a digital detox

You won't be in an office or home with computers or tablets responding to social media platforms, emails, texts and calls. Whilst the retreat won't ban mobile phones, we encourage limited use and after a few days you may find you switch them off completely and absorb yourself in the simple pleasures of nature, yoga, food, company, walking, swimming, reading and relaxing

You have the opportunity to build new habits and insitgate real change

The focus point of a yoga retreat is all about wellbeing, letting go of what no longer serves you and opening mind and body for new and better habits to form. This can be harder to achieve when we're at home with hectic schedules, familiarities, pressures and competition.

You meet new friends

A retreat is a very bonding expereince and often attracts people who wish to become the best version of themselves. This is such a positive way to connect

You have a chef !

Whether you like cooking or not, don't underestimate the energy and time saved when someone else is doing it for you. No shopping, planning figuring out what to have and no washing up
